Those who visit us often will know how much we like analog photography and, discovering the history that we present here, we thought we got to the Mecca of it. Ian Ruhter, known as The Alchemist, is an American photographer whose project called The American Dream is an ongoing journey for portraying American people and places that are on his way. Even being this feat sufficiently peculiar, what caught our attention was the technique used to get these amazing pictures. Ian turned a truck into a giant camera that shoots large format photographs and afterwards he reveals them using the wet collodion process in silver sheet metal. As he says: "This project is not about taking photos or creating the world's largest camera, is about doing what you love."

Los que nos leéis a menudo sabréis cuánto nos gusta la fotografía analógica y, al descubrir la historia que aquí os presentamos, creímos haber llegado a la meca de ésta. Aun y siendo esto una hazaña suficientemente peculiar, lo que más nos llamó la atención fue la técnica que utiliza para conseguir estas increíbles fotografías; Ian convirtió un camión en una cámara gigante con la que dispara fotografías a gran formato que luego revela usando el colodión húmedo en láminas de plata.
